Google Chrome for Android, updates, and now adds a new integrated tool to take screenshots through the Share option. After the restyling of last summer, in fact, the menu is further revisited so as to now present a Screenshot button that allows you to take, edit and share an image of the page you are browsing at that precise moment. The new option has been reported by users who have installed the 91 version of Chrome, even if it can be viewed using the flag accessible by clicking here.

The new Screenshot option made available by Google for your browser is found in the last line, the one that hosts functions such as Copy link, Send to your devices, QR code and Print. Using the command the user can then capture the full screen image, including the Omnibox. At that point, three further options are made available, namely Crop, Text and Trace, through which, if desired, you can edit the images before sharing them through the usual apps, save them on your device or delete them if they do not meet expectations.
As reported by colleagues at 9to5google.com, the text user interface has an elegant and extremely functional look, offering several shortcuts to crop, expand / skew (by dragging) and delete the captured images. The freehand drawing option also allows you to choose from 18 different colors and six stroke sizes. A nice introduction, therefore, which will avoid having to rely on external apps in the future to have the same functions, waiting for Android 12, probably arriving after the summer.
The update of the OS to version 12, which will be released first on Pixel smartphones, will bring with it several new features, such as small but significant changes to the interface, with a complete redesign of the UI, stacked widgets, a unedited lock screen with larger clock text and, in general, a more colorful and customizable operating system.
