The battle between manufacturers is getting tougher, not only in the higher range where the aim is to amaze thanks to new technologies but also in the lower one, where the price point makes the difference. Here, it seems that Poco certainly has clear ideas on this given the debut of the new M3, the first of the series that brings a respectable terminal well below 200 euros, at least on paper. And now, just on Black Friday, it makes its market debut at a special price, including Amazon.
The idea is a new standard that will also force the competition to review some plans and thus push ever more convincing products at a very competitive cost. I am thinking, for example, of the display, with the guaranteed FHD+ resolution, and also one of the latest Qualcomm SoCs designed for midranges: Snapdragon 662.
The commercial move that sees, starting from this Poco M3, the detachment of the Poco Global rib from the parent company (Xiaomi) is also interesting. The official press release therefore speaks of a brand that becomes "independent", thanks to the numbers achieved in these two years and the commercial boost enjoyed thanks to Xiaomi's communication. What will change? It is not yet known, perhaps it is a simple bureaucratic change that will not greatly change the fate of this spinoff, perhaps more free to wander on its own feet in the near future.
