Recently, the vice president of Xiaomi and the head of Redmi Lu Weibing announced the start of a promotional campaign to promote the Redmi K50 series. Yesterday, the company showed a series of features that will be part of one of the smartphones of the new line. In particular, it has been announced that a flagship of the range will be based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform.

Redmi K50 - excellent heat management

Later, Lu Weibing posted a post stating that the presence of a high-end processor from Qualcomm usually causes a sense of alarm among users. In fact, the first reviews of terminals equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 are a disaster and confirm the poor heat management in phones caused by the aforementioned chipset.

However, the executive said the company decided to focus on what would help avoid this problem: the cooling system.

The top manager said that users should pay attention, not only to the presence of a cooling system inside the smartphone; but also to the total area of heat dissipation.

Recall that yesterday with its teaser, the company announced that it will insert the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in one of the products of the Redmi K50 line. Among the specifications of the device is the fast charging via cable with a power of 120 W, which is able to "refuel" a 4700 mAh battery in just 17 minutes.

In any case, do not worry: when it arrives at us, we will be able to test the actual performance of the flagship processor in the field.

Recently, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphone was certified by the Chinese 3C regulator who confirmed that the device will support 120W fast charging. Previously, the well-known insider Digital Chat Station was the first to report that the device will receive a 120 watt charger (in package).

The insider also claims that the Game Enhanced Edition version of Redmi's line-up will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 single-chip system and will receive a 2K OLED display; with a frequency of 120 Hz or 144 Hz.

It will have four cameras, including a 64MP Sony Exmor IMX686 sensor. There will also be an OV13B10 wide-angle sensor with a resolution of 13 megapixels and an 8-megapixel VTech OV08856. The fourth sensor will be a 2MP GC02M1 depth-of-field sensor from GalaxyCore.

Perhaps there will be another version with a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with a resolution of 108 megapixels (Redmi K50 Gaming Pro?).

There will be no shortage of JBL stereo speakers and other flagship features. Stay tuned for new details on this.
