On these models, another novelty is ProMotion, i.e. the faster screen refresh rate (with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate) which makes some contents more fluid, already adopted by many Android smartphones.
The iPhone 13 Pro also has a display that Apple calls "Super Retina XDR with ProMotion" that is characterized by a refresh rate double that of previous iPhones. This means that scrolling on the screen should look smoother with less lag.
The prices of the iPhones are unchanged compared to last year. The new Apple devices have the iOS 15 operating system released a few days ago as standard, which also serves as an update for older iPhones.
Testing iPhone 13 on Tim's 5G
In Italy, users will be able to test iPhone 13 with Tim's 5G mobile network (recognized as the fastest download in Europe by Opensignal). In fact, Tim customers achieved an average download speed of 296.5 Mbps. Tim also entered the world top 30 for allowing an improvement in the transition from the 4G to the 5G network in terms of download and upload speeds, in the diffusion of videos and in the gaming experience.
Already last July, Ookla, the world's leading company in the measurement and analysis of fixed and mobile networks, rated the Tim 5G network as the fastest in Italy for the period April - June 2021.
To date, 5G Tim has reached over 90% coverage in Milan. The service, available to citizens and businesses, is active in many cities with speeds of up to 2 Gigabits per second. The main cities include Rome, Turin, Florence, Naples, Benevento, Ferrara, Bologna, Genoa, Verona, Sanremo, Ivrea, Brescia and Monza with the first racetrack in Europe connected in 5G.
